"The Dessert. Harmony in Red" by Henri Matisse
Real artists study colour theory and use colour to create atmosphere and mood. Not me. I use colours that I like and I think look good together. Matisse was a master of colour but usually I find his paintings unsettling as opposed to soothing as intended. I do applaud Matisse’s use of bold black lines in this composition though. Very GNAYesque Henri! Love the chair and the use of a period in the title.
