“Storm Clouds on the Horizon” by GNAY
In 1970 when Joni Mitchell sang, “you don’t know what you’ve got till it’s gone, they paved paradise and put up a parking lot”, I thought people were listening. In that same year Cat Stephens wrote, “I know we've come a long way, we’re changin' day to day, but tell me, where do the children play?”, it seemed people might be waking up. In 2012 (42 years later!) I appropriated a Vincent van Gogh landscape for this mostly thought provoking piece. With two new mega malls and a massive housing development underway on nearby farmland, I guarantee you nobody is listening. Well, maybe the crow is?
