Flash forward ten years and GNAY is now squatting in an abandoned shack under a bridge on the outskirts of town, but its not all bad. He has yet to sell a painting, but he realizes it’s not all about the Benjamins. His nasty habits now behind him the artist has forsaken (biblical word) everything for his art. Living the life of an ascetic monk with painting as his god, GNAY is hungry and poor, but happy and inspired. This is the sort of thing an artist must do to achieve greatness! Oh, he still has the odd beer, or glass of wine, or two of each, but that’s it.
