This portrait of Picasso’s mistress sold at auction in 2010 for $106.5 million. It is large, I’ll give him that, but supposedly was painted in a single day. Good work if you can get it. Here is what interests me though – in English Pablo translates to Paul. In fact three Paul Picasso paintings have traded for more than $100,000,000. So if you are an artist the chances of making it big are greatly enhanced if your name is Paul. Tomorrow I change my name.
