I think Dali really brings it in this highly original “Easter” painting.  No blood, no thorns, no sorrow. It’s all glory and no agony. I love the floating crucifix its angle of depiction and its level of shading. The water, boats and fisherman round out the story nicely. He is said to have hung a stuntman from the rafters to pose for Jesus. Good work if you can get it.
