"Tragedy" by Pablo Picasso
For me “The Tragedy” is that Pablo is in his early twenties, in Paris, and this is what he is producing. I can see how, at the time, this painting would be hard to sell. Of course the rest will be history. Note to young artists: “Grief” sells only after you are famous. Brilliantly tragic, the young Picasso really nails it here. Time to cheer up.
