Kandinsky was a hugely prolific painter and thinker. He said, “There is no form, there is nothing in the world which says nothing”. OK, that clears things up! He is credited with being the first artist to paint a purely abstract work. I think that gives him some serious cred. I like this piece even though I don’t have a clue what is going on. Roman numerals in the title – nice touch.
