"Girl reading a Letter in an open Window" by Johannes Vermeer
As in many of Vermeer’s interior paintings the detail is insane. Many of Jan’s paintings can be viewed in extremely high resolution at the Google Art Project. You should check it out to appreciate the intricacy in his work. Some art historians believe Vermeer must have used a Camera Obscura to project and trace the image onto the canvas. Historical note: The 17th century Dutch loved eating fruit in bed and never retired without a large bowl at the ready.
