"Cottage on top of the World (my title)" by Thomas Kinkade
Through the 90’ s “The Painter of Light” worked hard on expanding his art empire. He employed studio assistants to “help” with the painting in order to meet the growing demand for his work. In malls across America he built an empire of over 350 studio outlets. He made a movie about himself. He inspired the building of a small village based on his work. La-Z-Boy even designed a chair in his name! In 2001 he appeared on 60 Minutes and was clearly on top of the art world. His little cottages were crammed with gold!
