"Woman in an Armchair" by Pablo Picasso
“Homicide: Artist on the Beat” episode 1 (pilot) continued
This is the horrific sight that awaits GNAY and his young protégé on the early morning White Rock beach. The two art experts huddle together (touching) and examine the mangled and tortured, seated female form. Hardly recognizable as a woman, the consultants instantly recognize the influences of Dali, Miro, and perhaps Matisse. Clearly, the body has been “arranged” by the killer/artist to make a statement or send a message. But what? The wind and sun have now risen, so GNAY doffs his shirt and gazes thoughtfully out to sea. Fade to black.
