ARTZILA

Moving north to Paris we find this Parisian Café patron tangled up in Picasso’s “Blue Period”. Not the way I would want to be remembered! Anyhow, if you look back at yesterday’s masterpiece you will see that Madame Ginoux, the Café proprietress, is enjoying the same drink. The drink is Absinthe and was a very powerful and popular drink at the time. If you ever thought of trying it, this painting should talk you out of it. Although my Café served mostly coffee, I think a wee dram of Absinthe will give my painting some intrigue. Off to my easel!
