"Resting in Howe Sound BC, 1930" by Charles H. Scott
After hours and hours of demanding research, I can definitively say Charles had two good eyes, and he uses them both here. Hanging in our National Gallery (yes, the same one that has so far rejected me) this lovely little west coast vignette is typical of his subject and style from this period. Here are a couple of facts that give CHS some cred : First president of the Vancouver School of Art (Now Emily Carr), one of the founders of the Vancouver Art Gallery, and a member of the Federation of Canadian Artists. Side Note: GNAY is also an active member of the FCA.
