Whenever I display my work in public people always say my work is similar to that of Ted Harrison’s. So this week, I thought I would look into this “Nay of the North” and see if my public is making a valid connection. At first glance I do see some similarities: simplified forms, flat colours, and bold black lines that are all features of my work and style. I do like this “Eye in the Sky” piece and feel a kinship with this fellow artist building. He definitely has my “whimsy”, but can he also deliver GNAY’s “thought provoking edge?” That will be the true test.
