"Winter Landscape" by Wassily Kandinsky
I’m pretty sure this is the same yellow house that we saw last week from the brush of Gabriele Munter. Pondering face. He calls his “Winter Landscape” and, if I remember correctly, she called hers “My Happy Yellow House that I sometimes shared with Wassily”. Knowing face. I guess in paintings “point of view” has multiple meanings. Clever face. I do like the painting though as it has a certain sparse and lonely gravitas that makes me feel of winter. It is a serious painting from a serious dude. Stern face.
