It took hours of scouring the GNAY archives, but my research team have uncovered this clunker in a dusty closet. This “Japanese tsunami debris still life gone wrong” never garnered much interest or attention. I like the concept, the Sake bottle, the book/diary, and the red driftwood table, but the overall impact is lackluster. I think the background is particularly ho-hum and cartoonish. However, with fresh eyes, I think it can be salvaged, by drinking the Sake and simplifying the background. First things first – sip, sip, gulp, gulp. Its looking better already!
