“Down the Coast Road” by GNAY
RECAP: Late last week, well-loved local artist GNAY vanished from a Vancouver jail cell vowing to never paint again. Since that time, GNAY sightings have been reported from every corner of the earth, including this small Northern Irish village of Carnlough. Here a local bartender describes a gentleman fitting GNAY’s description as a new regular with a fondness for Guinness and Scotch Whiskey. He purportedly keeps to himself and his (many) drinks and often doodles on the cocktail napkins and coasters. One such napkin, sporting a “whimsical but thought provoking” still-life, has been bagged and dispatched up to Belfast for analysis. The art world waits.
