“Green Chair”                              “Green Pants on Chair”

Leonard Cohen paints a chair, GNAY paints a chair. Are you starting to see the pattern? He was a famous and award winning singer, song writer, poet, and artist. I’m just a soon to be famous artist, but we seem to be on the same path. Mine was painted in 1988, his in 2008. Here is the strange bit: the man pictured in the upper right is Emile Bernard, artist, writer, poet. His image is also featured in an 1888 Paul Gauguin self-portrait. I’m not sure why I included Bernard’s image in my composition. The chair and pants clearly symbolize me. Since GNAY is not Gauguin, the poet must be Cohen. Think about this for a bit, then get back to me.
