Last week a 6.2 magnitude earthquake rocked the Israeli city of Jerusalem. There was no serious damage but crumbling plaster revealed this painting in the Church of the Holy Sepulchre (thought by Christians to be the site of Christ’s resurrection). Art experts believe this painting to be an early or possibly even ancient GNAY. A small section of this acrylic on board masterpiece has been sent to a secret lab for carbon dating. Was the church deliberately hiding this intriguing masterwork? How is it possible that a present day, and well-loved, local artist also created this possibly centuries old painting? And, what is GNAY trying to tell us? Forget da Vinci, this is the “GNAY code” and it is sure to rock both the church and the art world to their cores. Stay tuned.
