“Self-Portrait in Arles” by GNAY
BREAKING NEWS: An International art tribunal in The Hague has made a declaration fully exonerating local artist GNAY. All works seized in Sunday’s raid (and featured here this week) were certified his work and not that of Vincent van Gogh. When jailers entered GNAY’s cell to give him the good news, the artist was gone and in his place this taunting painting and a note: “It has been a great run, but sadly, my brush has brought great shame to myself, family and friends. I have gone into hiding (don’t try to find me) and I vow to never paint again!” Shocked dealers and curators are scrambling to get their hands on anything GNAY, while contemplating a search party, for maybe next month.
