I can only assume “The Sunflowers” was not available but I like this painting better anyway. That’s what this week is really all about. It’s not just the astounding value of the paintings represented but the fact that given a Sears catalogue of paintings from this period I would have made the same choices. Yes, Sam Courtauld and I are on the same page! Too bad he is not around to thumb through GNAY’s catalogue of paintings. GNAY’s estimated value : PRICELESS
