ABOUT THE ARTIST
Amanda was born and raised in St. Catharines, Ontario. She completed a BFA in Photography from Ryerson University in 2010, during which she studied a semester abroad at Napier University in Edinburgh, Scotland. Following graduation, Amanda undertook a four-month internship with Canadian Geographic Magazine.
Amanda spent 2011 photographing 1812 Reenactments in Southern Ontario for Canadian Geographic Magazine. Her 1812 Series was published in the 2012 Summer Travel Edition of Canadian Geographic.
In 2013, Amanda was an on-set photographer with Wild Canada Productions capturing images for their interactive book app. The four-episode series Wild Canada will be coming to CBC's The Nature of Things starting March 13, 2014.
Amanda currently lives and works in St. Catharines, ON, Canada.
