ABOUT THE ARTIST
I'm Corbin Smith, Toronto commercial photographer and photojournalist. I'm really into telling interesting stories and making awesome things. I usually do both using photographs. (Though I have been known to use moving images as well as the written word from time to time.) I draw upon a comprehensive academic background in art, media, and photography (MFA in Documentary Media, honours degree in Media Studies, diploma in Creative Photography.) However, it's my creativity and inquisitiveness that are the driving forces behind most of my work. Currently, I am primarily a freelance photographer and the photo editor for Torontoist. Both are pretty great.
